Tree of Life: A Denton Quilt Guild Exhibit

June 2 – August 12, 2023
Gough Gallery

The Tree of Life exhibit showcases 20 works from the Denton Quilt Guild’s 40th anniversary Tree of Life Challenge. The challenge was issued in 2022 and is part of the annual challenge tradition that invites Denton Quilt Guild Members to submit works based on a common theme. There are no prizes or winners, just camaraderie and an interesting display for the whole guild at the end of the challenge.

The Denton Quilt Guild set rules for the challenge, including circular graphic tree design. The design must be no larger than 20 inches. The tree must include roots, a trunk, and branches. Leaves are optional. The designs can be one color or multicolored. Artists could use any technique, color palette, fabric, or materials.
